Ethereal, ambient “Seaglass” builds on the dark mood of Oakland-based Last Planet's last release, “Whiskey Breath," and establishes their trance-inducing modern alt-rock vibe. “Seaglass” is about longingly clinging to love or an emotional high when you feel it slipping away. The vocal melody flows through the atmospheric soundscape, like ocean waves over seaglass, seducing the listener and conveying the yearning for the fading emotional high to linger. After a year in the studio, Last Planet will be hitting northern California stages playing well-known venues, county fairs, and beloved dive bars.
