Unity is both a benefit and a responsibility for those who are citizens of the Kingdom of God (All who are in Christ Jesus). It is a concept that is difficult to put our heads around when we see so much division and contention in society, politics, civil institutions and even within and among Christians. Paul declares a fact and issues a rebuke to Christians in 1Co 8:6-7a: But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: . . .
