El: Η Ελένη περπατούσε αργά ανάμεσα στα αιωνόβια ελαιόδεντρα.
En: I Eleni was walking slowly among the ancient olive trees.
El: Ήταν Άνοιξη και το χωριό την καλωσόριζε με το γιορτινό του πρόσωπο για το Πάσχα.
En: It was spring, and the village welcomed her with its festive face for Easter.
El: Ο αέρας ήταν γεμάτος από το άρωμα της φρέσκιας γης και των ανθισμένων βλαστών της ελιάς.
En: The air was filled with the scent of fresh soil and the blossoming shoots of the olive tree.
El: Το πανηγύρι για τη συγκομιδή της ελιάς είχε αρχίσει.
En: The festival for the olive harvest had begun.
El: Η Ελένη μόλις είχε επιστρέψει από την Αθήνα.
En: I Eleni had just returned from Athina.

El: Καθώς η Ελένη πλησίασε, ο Νίκος σήκωσε το κεφάλι του και χαμογέλασε.
En: As i Eleni approached, o Nikos lifted his head and smiled.
El: "Καλώς την, Ελένη," είπε με ζεστασιά.
En: "Welcome, Eleni," he said warmly.
El: "Χρειαζόμαστε βοήθεια φέτος.
En: "We need help this year."
El: "Η Ελένη δίστασε, αλλά έπειτα αποφάσισε να βοηθήσει στη συγκομιδή.
En: I Eleni hesitated, but then decided to help with the harvest.
El: Ήξερε ότι έτσι θα μπορούσε να ξαναβρεί τους δεσμούς της με το παρελθόν.
En: She knew that this way she could reconnect with her past.
El: Καθώς εργάζονταν πλάι-πλάι, οι γέλια και οι κουβέντες τους γέμισαν τον αέρα.
En: As they worked side by side, their laughter and conversations filled the air.
El: Η Ελένη βρήκε θάρρος να του μιλήσει για τιςαμφιβολίες της.
En: I Eleni found the courage to talk to him about her doubts.
El: Ο Νίκος μοιράστηκε τις δικές του ανησυχίες.
En: O Nikos shared his own concerns.
El: Ήθελε να κρατήσει τη φλόγα της παράδοσης ζωντανή μέσα στη νεολαία του χωριού.

En: O Nikos, feeling hope rising, agreed.
