El: Μια ζεστή καλοκαιρινή μέρα, η γειτονιά της Πλάκας στην Αθήνα ήταν γεμάτη ζωή.
En: One warm summer day, the neighborhood of Plaka in Athens was full of life.
El: Στα στενά καλντερίμια περπατούσαν Νίκος και Έλενα.
En: In the narrow cobblestone streets walked Nikos and Elena.
El: Ο ήλιος έπεφτε πάνω στα αρχαία ερείπια, δημιουργώντας χρυσαφένιες σκιές.
En: The sun cast its light over the ancient ruins, creating golden shadows.

El: Η φωνή του ήταν σιγανή, σχεδόν δίσταζε.
En: His voice was quiet, almost hesitant.
El: Καθώς κάθισαν κάτω από τη σκιά μιας μουριάς, η Έλενα του έδωσε προσοχή.
En: As they sat under the shade of a mulberry tree, Elena gave him her attention.
El: «Φοβάμαι για ό,τι έρχεται.
En: "I'm afraid of what's coming.
