El: Ο ήλιος ανέτειλε πάνω από το κεντρικό στρατιωτικό νοσοκομείο στην ελληνική ύπαιθρο.
En: The sun rose over the central military hospital in the Greek countryside.
El: Η άνοιξη έφερε μαζί της τον ανθό των φυτών, το τραγούδι των πουλιών και την αναμονή της Ανάστασης.
En: Spring brought with it the bloom of plants, the song of birds, and the anticipation of the Resurrection.
El: Ο Αντρέας είχε μόλις επιστρέψει από τη στρατιωτική του θητεία.
En: O Andreas had just returned from his military service.
El: Ήταν ταπεινός και σκεπτικός, με το βλέμμα απλωμένο στο πανόραμα των λουλουδιών που σκόρπιζαν αρώματα.
En: He was humble and thoughtful, his gaze spread over the panorama of flowers scattering aromas.

En: O Andreas wanted to reunite with his family and his childhood friend, ton Niko.
El: Ο Νίκος δουλεύει στο στρατιωτικό νοσοκομείο.
En: O Nikos works at the military hospital.
El: Εκείνο το πρωί, όλοι συζητούσαν για το μεγάλο πασχαλινό τραπέζι που θα γινόταν το βράδυ, πριν από τη λειτουργία της Ανάστασης.
En: That morning, everyone was discussing the big Easter table that would take place in the evening, before the Resurrection service.
El: Με την πρώτη ευκαιρία, ο Αντρέας πλησίασε τον Νίκο.
En: At the first opportunity, o Andreas approached ton Niko.
El: Τα μάτια τους συναντήθηκαν, γεμάτα με αισθήματα που δεν μπορούσαν εύκολα να εκφραστούν.
En: Their eyes met, filled with emotions that couldn't easily be expressed.
El: Υπήρχε κάτι ανείπωτο μεταξύ τους.
En: There was something unspoken between them.
El: Καθως κάθισαν στο ίδιο τραπέζι, η αμηχανία ήταν εμφανής.
En: As they sat at the same table, the awkwardness was apparent.
El: «Νίκο, χρόνια πολλά!» είπε ο Αντρέας προσπαθώντας να γεφυρώσει την απόσταση.
En: "Niko, happy holidays!" said o Andreas, trying to bridge the gap.
El: Ο Νίκος χαμογέλασε, αλλά η ένταση δεν έσπασε αμέσως.
En: O Nikos smiled, but the tension didn't break immediately.
El: Καθώς οι ώρες περνούσαν και τα φαγητά έμπαιναν στο τραπέζι, οι ψυχές τους άρχισαν να μαλακώνουν.
En: As the hours passed and the food was laid on the table, their souls began to soften.
El: Μια στιγμή σιωπής ήταν η αφορμή για να μιλήσει ο Νίκος.
En: A moment of silence was the cue for o Nikos to speak.
El: «Μου έλειψες, Αντρέα. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι ήμουν θυμωμένος... δεν έγραψες συχνά.»
En: "I missed you, Andrea. The truth is, I was angry... you didn't write often."
El: Ο Αντρέας κατέβασε το βλέμμα του.
En: O Andreas lowered his gaze.
El: «Ήταν δύσκολο, Νίκο. Ο πόλεμος... και οι μνήμες.»
En: "It was difficult, Niko. The war... and the memories."
El: Η κατανόηση άνθισε μεταξύ τους όπως η άνοιξη γύρω τους.
En: Understanding blossomed between them like the spring around them.
El: Όταν η νύχτα έπεσε, ακολουθούσαν τα βήματα στην εκκλησία για την Ανάσταση.
En: When night fell, they followed the steps to the church for the Resurrection.
El: Με τα κεριά αναμμένα στα χέρια τους, στάθηκαν ο ένας δίπλα στον άλλον.
En: With candles lit in their hands, they stood next to each other.
El: Το «Χριστός Ανέστη!» ακούστηκε δυνατά, και μαζί ένωσαν τις φωνές τους.
En: "Christos Anesti!" was heard loudly, and together they joined their voices.
El: Ήταν μια νέα αρχή.
En: It was a new beginning.
El: Μια στιγμή ειρήνης και συγχώρεσης γι' αυτούς.
En: A moment of peace and forgiveness for them.
El: Ο Αντρέας είχε βρει αυτό που έψαχνε.
En: O Andreas had found what he was looking for.
El: Ήταν έτοιμος να αγκαλιάσει τη ζωή με τα καλά και τα άσχημα.
En: He was ready to embrace life with its good and bad.
El: Καθώς η λειτουργία τελείωνε, οι δύο φίλοι κατηφόρισαν από την εκκλησία, γελώντας και συζητώντας όπως τότε, όταν ήταν παιδιά.
En: As the service concluded, the two friends descended from the church, laughing and chatting like back when they were children.
El: Η καρδιά του Αντρέα ήταν ικανοποιημένη, ξέροντας ότι το Πάσχα αυτό τους έφερε πιο κοντά και ότι τόσο οι μνήμες όσο και ο παρών μπορούσαν να συνυπάρξουν με αγάπη.
En: I kardia tou Andrea was satisfied, knowing that this Easter brought them closer and that both the memories and the present could coexist with love.
