Description

2 Corinthians 12 begins with Paul refusing to boast of when he was taken up to the third heaven and heard things that could not be spoken of. He goes on to say that he was given a "thorn in the flesh," which he prayed to God to remove, but God's response was that his grace was sufficient for Paul, and that his power was made perfect in Paul's weakness. Paul concludes by recounting his weaknesses and hardships, and reminds the Corinthians that his weakness does not indicate a lack of authority or power, but rather, the power of Christ working through him.
