Romans 16 mainly consists of a list of personal greetings that Paul sends to various individuals in Rome. Paul mentions many people whom he knows and values in the Roman church, both men and women, which shows the diversity of the early Christian community. Towards the end of the chapter, Paul warns the Romans to be on the lookout for those who create divisions or cause disruption within the church. Finally, Paul offers a doxology, praising God for his wisdom and glory.
