Host Chris Cannon speaks with State Apprenticeship Director Shalondria Shaw and Deputy State Apprenticeship Director Autumn Derrick about youth apprenticeships in the state of Tennessee. In addition, Tiffany Phillips of Rutherford County Schools and Katrina Rucker of Roscoe Brown Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing about their mechanical and electrical plumbing pre-apprenticeship. Roscoe Brown has put through over 90 pre-apprentices through their apprenticeship program.
National Youth Apprenticeship Week is May 5-11 in the United States.
