In this episode, as part of our goal, we will be dissecting the term ‘WEB3’ which has been named the future state of the internet. The term encompasses a multitude of areas spanning crypto, non-fungible tokens, decentralized autonomous organizations, DeFi, and even the metaverse.
By the end of this Episode, listeners should already know the key differences between WEB1, WEB2, and what is now known as WEB3, where the term emanated from, how to decipher the web3 buzz and hype, and more importantly, how to navigate the space.
We're joined by Raphael Osaze Eyerin; a Software engineer who has been able to work for several technology companies both at home and abroad over the last five years.
Raphael is also very passionate about Bitcoin and Blockchain his passion for Blockchain technology led him to apply for the Qala Africa Bitcoin of which he was one of the 12 fellows out of 837 applicants that successfully finished the program.
He believes Bitcoin and blockchain technology have many use cases in Africa compared to the rest of the world, and his dream is to accelerate Bitcoin adoption in Africa to enable borderless payments
