Derrick L. Green, a 21-year veteran of the US Army and founder of the successful food brand Waffles and Whatnot, advocates for individual purpose over societal expectations. Raised in poverty in Florida and having faced numerous personal challenges, including suicidal thoughts and being a long-term cancer caregiver, he now dedicates himself to EMPOWERING others through his "Pick A Pigeon" program. This initiative supports struggling entrepreneurs and women in honing their focus and tackling life goals, drawing on his own experiences to guide others away from the hardships he endured.
