The film tells the story of a man who comes from South Africa to find out why his sister left him a message asking for his help in Los Angeles. After discovering her death, Jacob King (Boseman) goes on a tour of vengeance against the people who he believes had something to do with her death. However, he might have found a larger conspiracy that goes beyond her sister.
