This week on Black on Black Cinema, the crew returns to discuss the Idris Elba led film, Beast. The movie is a survival action film directed by Baltasar Kormákur. The plot centers around Dr. Nate Samuels (Elba), a widowed father who, along with his daughters Meredith and Norah, visits the Mopani Reserve in South Africa for a vacation. They reunite with Nate's old friend, Martin Battles (Copley), a biologist and the reserve's manager. The family faces a life-threatening crisis when they encounter a rogue, man-killing lion. The story unfolds as they fight for survival, dealing with attacks from the lion and a group of poachers, and more.
