The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Andre 3000, Tyrese Gibson, and Garrett Hedlund as four foster brothers who grew up together in Detroit. They all return home after the untimely murder of the beloved foster mother during a convenience store robbery. After some asking around the brother realize there may be a little bit more to their mother's death than they could have imagined.
