On Cybertron (a planet of sentient robots), the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are on the verge of losing the Transformer civil war to enemies, the Decepticons, and begin making preparations to leave the planet. A young scout, Bumblebee makes it to Earth where he teams up with a young girl (Hailee Steinfeld) while on the run from two Decepticons.
