Their sisterhood is rekindled and wild sides are rediscovered, with nights of partying, hook-ups and bad decisions, as well as raw and vulnerable moments that strengthen their bond. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man) and written by Kenya Barris (Black-ish), Girl's Trip takes the simple road tripping movie idea but adds great comedic flair and raunchiness that women rarely get in films aimed at their demographic. #GirlsTrip manages to balance comedy and sincerity and is a great time all around.
