Based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name, Hellboy follows the story of a hell demon aptly named Hellboy (David Harbour) who after being brought to Earth as a child and reformed by his adopted father fights the paranormal as an instrument of good for the BPRD (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense). Hellboy is called into action to take on the newly resurrected Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich), who plans to unleash a plague to wipe out all of humanity.
