Good morning, Chicago! I'm your weather wizard here to break down the chilly forecast heading our way.

Buckle up for a winter wonderland adventure! We're looking at a snowy and blustery next few days that'll make you want to cuddle up with some hot cocoa.

Tonight, we've got a 30 percent chance of snow before 4 am, with temperatures dropping to a crisp 26 degrees. Expect northeast winds howling around 20 miles per hour, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. It's going to be one blustery night!

Monday brings more winter excitement with scattered snow showers and even some freezing rain before noon. Temperatures will struggle to reach a high of 30 degrees. We're looking at the potential for 1 to 2 inches of new snow accumulation, so keep those snow shovels ready!

The week continues with a mix of partly sunny and mostly cloudy days. Tuesday will offer a brief reprieve with temperatures climbing to around 26 degrees and some sunshine. By Wednesday, we're back to chilly vibes with highs near 22 degrees.

As we roll into Thursday and Friday, expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures hovering in the mid-20s. The weekend looks slightly warmer, with temperatures creeping up to near 29 degrees on Saturday and 32 degrees on Sunday.

Pro tip: Layer up, Chicago! This week's forecast is not for the faint of heart.
