Good morning, Chicago! This is your Weather Watchdog bringing you the latest chilly updates from the Windy City.

Bundle up, folks, because winter is showing no mercy! Overnight temperatures are diving down to a bone-chilling 4 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chill values dropping to negative 8 degrees. Northwest winds are whipping around at about 10 miles per hour, so make sure those winter layers are ready.

Wednesday brings a sprinkle of winter drama with intermittent snow flurries between 2 and 4 pm. Expect a high of just 16 degrees Fahrenheit, and those wind chills will make it feel like negative 9 degrees. Northwest winds will gust up to 15 miles per hour, giving us that classic Chicago winter experience.

Wednesday night continues the winter wonderland with a 30 percent chance of snow and flurries. Temperatures will hover around 7 degrees Fahrenheit, with west-northwest winds potentially gusting up to 20 miles per hour.

Thursday brings a bit of relief with mostly sunny skies and a high near 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday looks bright and sunny with a high of 25 degrees.

The weekend forecast shows a gradual warming trend. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 30 degrees, climbing to a balmy 37 degrees on Sunday.

By Monday, we're looking at partly sunny conditions with temperatures reaching 44 degrees - almost feels like a heatwave after these arctic blasts!
