Description

Good morning, Chicago! This is your Weather Whisper bringing you the scoop on what Mother Nature has planned for the next few days.

Buckle up for a bit of a chilly ride tonight. We're looking at mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to around 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Hold onto your hats because it's going to be blustery out there, with northwest winds whipping around 20 miles per hour and gusts potentially reaching up to 35 miles per hour. It's the kind of night that screams for a warm blanket and some hot cocoa!

Thursday is bringing some sunshine to brighten our spirits. Expect a high near 41 degrees Fahrenheit with a northwest breeze between 10 to 20 miles per hour. Those gusts might kick up to 30 miles per hour, so maybe keep that lightweight jacket handy.

Now, things get interesting on Friday. Snow is making a guest appearance! We're looking at a high near 35 degrees Fahrenheit with a good 80 percent chance of precipitation. Pack your snow boots because we might see anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of the white stuff accumulating.

The weekend looks more promising with sunny skies on Saturday and temperatures climbing to a pleasant 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday is even better, with temperatures reaching a delightful 51 degrees Fahrenheit.

By Monday, we're practically in spring mode with temperatures soaring to near 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday continues the warm trend, hitting a balmy 63 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wednesday might bring a chance of rain, so keep that umbrella close by.
