Meet Angelia: PhD Candidate Angelia Williams is a native of Milwaukee, WI and the owner of Angelia Williams Enterprises. Beginning a music career at an early age has allowed her to vocally share the stage with many iconic names in Gospel music such as Fred Hammond, Kim Burrell, The Men of Standard, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Carmen just to name a few. Holding a philosophy that encompasses an exhaustive point of view, she coaches singers and public speakers not only vocally but from a whole person perspective that includes the mind, body, and spirit. Not only is there a heavy focus on proper vocal technique and pedagogy, but her doctoral education in Performance Psychology allows her to marry her extensive knowledge of music and psychology together.
Clients are not only taught how to become better singers/speakers physiologically, but receive psychological skills training and life coaching to help minimize Music Performance Anxiety that can be debilitating in singers/public speakers. The Voice Studio of Angelia Williams was the recipient of the Nashville’s Best Award in the category of Vocal Coach 2013-2022 consecutively and continues to work with singers/public speakers in multiple markets internationally.
