Before I put this episode together, I was thinking that 1987 was an average year for pop culture in the 80s. How wrong I was...I completely forgot how many timeless movies came out this year along with a ton of era-defining TV shows--including two that are some of the all-time biggest for people of my age...And then there is the music, as the top ten albums of this year are absolutely monumental. It's incredible that so many of these were released within a year of each other. And, as usual, there is the regular political strife, Cold War tensions, amazing technological advancements, and huge sporting moments (including a massive sports entertainment moment...)So enjoy this early, and ad-free look at the year that truly had it all: 1987P.S.
