The more the season ramps up so does Patrick. He starts this episode off by going over the teams that blew a playoff spot because of how bad they played in the final month of the season. Then Patrick then goes into a segment called "September Hero's" where Patrick goes into each team's best player in the month of September. This time Patrick goes over teams from the past, but Patrick will revisit this segment later this month to see who was the September hero's for the teams this year. That segment bleeds into the third segment. After Patrick finishes with September Hero's Patrick updates the league leaders in the most important stats. Patrick covers the league leaders in HR, BA, ERA, strikeouts, and more! Patrick ends today's show by covering the standings updates for each division. Patrick also covers the wildcard race in the National League and how close the race has gotten.
