The Players made an updated proposal but there are still huge gaps that remain in getting a deal done. We are getting dangerously close to the delay of opening day at the end of March. Kevin then talks about Ryan Zimmerman announcing his retirement. Known as "Mr. National" Zimmerman will go down as the greatest player in the Nationals franchise. Ryan is the career leading for the Nationals in games, runs, hits, total bases, doubles, home runs and RBIs. Truly amazing career.
