Kevin starts the episode by talking about Carlos Rodon signing with the Giants and Clayton Kershaw returning to the Dodgers. The two NL West powers continue to make moves to improve their rosters in anticipation of what should be another classic divisional race. Kershaw took a hometown discount to return to the Dodgers, and Rodon gives himself an opportunity to make even more money with an opt out after year one. Kevin then talks about the Mets adding all-star starter Chris Bassitt to their already loaded rotation. DeGrom, Scherzer, Bassitt is as good of a 1 through 3 in the MLB. The Blue Jays added starter Kikuchi on a 3 year deal that looks to make them a potential favorite in the loaded AL East. Kevin wraps up the show talking about Sonny Gray being traded from the Reds to the Twins. The Twins were able to add a top rotation arm for the top pick from their draft class a year ago. The hot stove is off and running but we have yet to hear from Freddie Freeman and Carlos Correa.
