Kevin begins the episode with his the first edition of his Power Rankings. There are plenty of surprises on his list. The White Sox are off to a tough start and Tony La Russa is on the hot seat, the Pirates have been a pleasant surprise, the Angels are in the top 10, and Giants fans will not be happy with their ranking. Kevin then talks about the top 25 in NCAA Baseball. Tennessee and Oregon State remained the top two ranked teams, but there is plenty of movement lower in the rankings. Kevin also talks about current "bubble" teams with about one month remaining in the season. Kevin wraps up the show talking about the baseballs that are currently being used. Multiple players have recently made waves with their comments on the ball. The hitters do not like them, with offensive numbers at historic lows. The pitchers do not like the balls, with hit by pitchers at a high this year.
