So far the surprise teams have to be Michigan and UCONN, both of whom are 2-0 thus far. Kevin then jumps into the news of the Phillies firing Joe Girardi this week. Rob Thomson will take over, in what the Phillies hope will be a move that jump starts this team on a playoff run, ending the longest drought in the National League. Kevin wraps up the show talking about under the radar storylines and players so far this season. Martin Perez and David Bednar have been two of the best pitchers in all of baseball. No one is talking about them because they play for the Rangers and Pirates.
