Kevin begins the episode by giving an update on the results and standings following the weekend. It was a crazy few days in the NL East. The Braves swept the Mets to take the lead in the East and lower their magic number all the way to 1. The Phillies also had their magic number drop from 5 to 1 in 48 hours after the Marlins upset the Brewers twice. Kevin then discusses Aaron Judge's historical home run chase. Judge is stuck on 61 after a homerless weekend against Baltimore. 62 home runs would be the American League record. Judge is also chasing only the second triple crown offensively since 1967. He will need a big last three days to win the batting title. Kevin wraps up the show by discussing a minor league prospect who had the best summer for each organization. The names talked about today could be household names beginning next summer.
