Jana Reynolds, a 22-year-old nursing student, was found murdered in her home on May 6, 1988. She was the daughter of of Robert and Marilyn Jane (Hulbert) Wellmaker.
DNA tests run in 2002 on evidence from the crime scene identified a former co-worker as her killer.
