Hr: Svjetlo kasnog ljeta sijalo je kroz prozore studentskog doma u Zagrebu.
En: The late summer light shone through the windows of the student dormitory in Zagreb.
Hr: Ivana je stajala ispred svog novog doma, okružena kutijama i torbama.
En: Ivana stood in front of her new home, surrounded by boxes and bags.
Hr: Srce joj je ubrzano kucalo dok je promatrala gužvu.
En: Her heart was beating fast as she watched the hustle and bustle.
Hr: Studenti su dolazili i odlazili, uzbuđeni zbog početka nove akademske godine.
En: Students were coming and going, excited about the start of the new academic year.

Hr: Luka je odmah preuzeo jednu od većih torbi, a Ivana ga je slijedila.
En: Luka immediately took one of the larger bags, and Ivana followed him.
Hr: "Novo lice ovdje?
En: "New face here?"
Hr: " upitao je ljubazno.

Hr: "Da, prva godina," odgovorila je sramežljivo.
En: "Yes, first year," she replied shyly.
Hr: "Malo sam nervozna.
En: "I'm a bit nervous."
Hr: ""Nema brige," rekao je Luka.
En: "No worries," Luka said.
Hr: "Svi smo mi prošli kroz to.
En: "We've all been through it.
Hr: Prošle godine bio sam potpuno izgubljen prvih tjedana.
En: Last year, I was completely lost during the first weeks."
Hr: "Njih dvoje uđoše u zajedničku sobu, gdje su studenti razgovarali i upoznavali se.
En: The two of them entered the common room, where students were chatting and getting to know each other.
Hr: "Ovdje je uvijek gužva", rekao je Luka.
En: "It's always crowded here," Luka said.
Hr: "Ali čim se smjestiš, vidjet ćeš kako je ovo super mjesto.
En: "But once you settle in, you'll see how great this place is."
Hr: "Sjeli su na kauč, a Ivana osjeti kako joj se tjeskoba počinje topiti.
En: They sat on the couch, and Ivana felt her anxiety begin to melt away.
Hr: "Hvala ti što si mi pomogao", rekla je opuštenije.
En: "Thank you for helping me," she said more relaxed.
Hr: "Nema na čemu.
En: "You're welcome.

Hr: Njegova ponuda iskrenosti otvorila je vrata prijateljstvu.
