Cs: Karel a Jana procházeli tradičním vánočním trhem v Praze.
En: Karel and Jana were strolling through the traditional Christmas market in Prague.
Cs: Vzduch byl chladný a svěží.
En: The air was cold and fresh.
Cs: Všude okolo byly stánky ozdobené světly a vůně svařeného vína a perníků byla lákavá.
En: All around were stalls decorated with lights, and the scent of mulled wine and gingerbread was enticing.
Cs: Karel byl zaneprázdněný myšlenkami na práci.
En: Karel was preoccupied with thoughts of work.
Cs: Stále kontroloval svůj telefon.
En: He kept checking his phone.
Cs: Jana si toho všimla a povzdechla.
En: Jana noticed this and sighed.
Cs: „Karle, jsme tady kvůli rodině.

Cs: Ale musím si být jistý, že mám všechno v pořádku pro po-novoroční schůzku,“ odpověděl a povzdechl.
En: But I need to be sure that I have everything in order for the post-New Year meeting," he replied, sighing.
Cs: Jeho mysl byla rozpolcená.
