Cs: Na vrchol Petřínské vyhlídky v Praze vedla dlouhá cesta, provoněná barevnými listy podzimu.
En: The climb to the top of Petřínská vyhlídka in Praha was a long journey, scented with the colorful leaves of autumn.
Cs: Rána byla chladná, ale sluneční paprsky nabídly příjemné teplé pohlazení.
En: The morning was chilly, but the sun's rays offered a pleasant warm caress.
Cs: Tomaš se pomalu vydal po cestičce, která klikatila mezi rozlehlými zahradami.
En: Tomaš slowly set off on a path that wound between the expansive gardens.

Cs: Jana, vděčná za jeho slova, sedla si vedle něho a dívala se na jeho knihu.

Cs: „O čem to je?“ zeptala se.
En: “What's it about?” she asked.
Cs: „O krásách přírody,“ vysvětlil Tomaš.
En: “About the beauties of nature,” explained Tomaš.
Cs: „Přemýšlím, jak se v tom najít.
En: “I'm pondering how to find myself in it.
Cs: Jak se otevřít světu.“ Jana se na něj usmála.
En: How to open up to the world.” Jana smiled at him.
Cs: „Možná bychom se mohli podělit o inspiraci,“ navrhla.
En: “Maybe we could share our inspiration,” she suggested.
Cs: „Já ti ukážu, jak zachytit svět na papíře, a ty mi řekneš, co cítíš při čtení.“ S tímto nečekaným spojením začali spolupracovat.
En: “I'll show you how to capture the world on paper, and you can tell me what you feel while reading.” With this unexpected connection, they began to collaborate.
Cs: Jana kreslila, Tomaš četl úryvky.
En: Jana drew, Tomaš read excerpts.
Cs: Měnili se v rytmu podzimního větru, který hrál mezi listím.

Cs: Podzimní den skončil, jak kráčeli dolů Petřínem, cítící, že jejich nově vznikající přátelství bude stejně trvanlivé jako strom, pod kterým se setkali.
En: The autumn day ended as they walked down Petřín, feeling that their newly forming friendship would be as enduring as the tree under which they met.
