Cs: Na strmých útesech, kde se divoké vlny tříští o skály, se obloha rychle zatahuje.
En: On the steep cliffs, where wild waves crash against the rocks, the sky quickly darkens.
Cs: Temné mraky předznamenávají blížící se bouři.
En: Dark clouds foretell an approaching storm.
Cs: Je podzim a listí na stromech září zlatou a rudou barvou.
En: It is autumn, and the leaves on the trees shine in golden and red colors.
Cs: Vladimír, s batohem na zádech, se opatrně pohybuje po pěšině.
En: Vladimír, with a backpack on his back, carefully moves along the path.
Cs: Miluje tyto útesy, jejich klid a dramatickou krásu, ideální místo na kreslení.
En: He loves these cliffs, their tranquility, and dramatic beauty, the ideal place for drawing.

Cs: "Co tě sem přivádí?"
En: "What brings you here?"
Cs: "Potřebuji si pročistit hlavu," odpoví Petra.
En: "I need to clear my head," answers Petra.
Cs: "A ty?"
En: "And you?"
Cs: "Chci kreslit," přizná Vladimír a ukáže na svou skicák.
En: "I want to draw," admits Vladimír, pointing to his sketchbook.
Cs: "Ale vypadá to, že počasí nám to ztíží."
En: "But it looks like the weather will make it difficult for us."
Cs: Zhluboka nadechnou, sledí navzájem směr, kde černé mraky plují nad vodou.
En: They take a deep breath, watching together the direction where dark clouds are drifting over the water.
Cs: Vítr sílí a déšť hrozí padnout každou chvíli.
En: The wind strengthens, and rain threatens to fall at any moment.
Cs: "Měli bychom najít úkryt," řekne Petra rozumně.
En: "We should find shelter," Petra says sensibly.
Cs: Vladimír je však fascinován dramatickou scenérií.
En: However, Vladimír is fascinated by the dramatic scenery.
Cs: "Možná bychom mohli ještě chvíli zůstat?
En: "Maybe we could stay a little longer?
Cs: Je to tak krásné."
En: It's so beautiful."
Cs: Petra pocítí vlnu frustrace, ale zároveň chápe Vladimírovu touhu.

En: Together, they head towards a small cottage they spotted at the beginning of the trail.
Cs: Uvnitř chaty je ticho a teplo.
En: Inside the cottage, it is quiet and warm.
Cs: Usadí se u stolu s horkým čajem v rukách.
En: They sit down at the table with hot tea in their hands.
Cs: "Tak," začíná Vladimír, "vypadá to, že jsem se mýlil."
En: "So," begins Vladimír, "it seems I was wrong."
Cs: Petra se usměje.
En: Petra smiles.
Cs: "Měla jsem taky zůstat klidná a těšit se na výsledky toho, co příroda nabízela.
En: "I should have also stayed calm and enjoyed the results of what nature offered.
Cs: Ale," dodává, "někdy je důležitější bezpečí."
En: But," she adds, "sometimes safety is more important."
Cs: Usmějí se jeden na druhého.
En: They smile at each other.
Cs: Z rozmluvy a smíchu nad šálky čaje plyne nové přátelství.
