Sk: V tajomnom laboratóriu plnom záhadných zariadení a bublajúcich kadií sedel Marek za stolom plným pokusov.
En: In the mysterious lab full of enigmatic equipment and bubbling flasks, Marek sat at a table full of experiments.
Sk: Vonku bola jeseň.
En: Outside, it was autumn.
Sk: Listy padali z farbených stromov a vonku sa miešali vône pečených gaštanov a dyne.
En: Leaves were falling from the colorful trees and outside mingled the scents of roasted chestnuts and pumpkin.
Sk: Halloween sa blížil a Marek vedel, že nastal čas na výber kostýmu.
En: Halloween was approaching, and Marek knew it was time to choose a costume.
Sk: Marek mal dve blízke priateľky, Luciu a Zuzanu.
En: Marek had two close friends, Lucia and Zuzana.
Sk: Často sa s nimi cítil odpojený pre svoju prácu.
