Sk: Pod sýtomodrou oblohou starovekého Babylonu pulzoval život.
En: Under the deep blue sky of ancient Babylon, life pulsed.
Sk: Slnko sa ešte neskrylo za horizont, no zvláštny tieň sa pomaly zakrádal po meste.
En: The sun had not yet hidden behind the horizon, but a strange shadow was slowly sneaking over the city.
Sk: Strach a zvedavosť sa zračili na tvárach obyvateľov.
En: Fear and curiosity were evident on the faces of the inhabitants.
Sk: Vedci a obchodníci sa mračili hore na oblohu, kde svetlo začínalo slabnúť.
En: Scholars and merchants frowned up at the sky, where the light began to fade.
Sk: Uprostred trhu, medzi vôňou korenia a krikom predavačov, Rástislav neustále poskakoval z miesta na miesto.
En: In the middle of the market, among the scent of spices and the cries of vendors, Rástislav was constantly hopping from place to place.

Sk: Sedela vedľa neho, poškriabala si hlavu a zvolala: "Jozef, dnes je ten deň!
En: She sat beside him, scratched her head, and exclaimed, "Jozef, today is the day!"
Sk: "Jozef sa pousmial.
En: Jozef smiled.
Sk: "Áno, dnes.
En: "Yes, today.
Sk: Potom všetkom, čo sme plánovali.

Sk: " Netrvalo dlho a nad Babylonom sa rozostrela temnota.
En: It didn't take long before darkness spread over Babylon.

Sk: Rastislav tú temnosť využil, zvolávajúc paniku.
En: Rástislav took advantage of this darkness, inciting panic.
Sk: "Bože, ochráň nás!
En: "God, protect us!"
Sk: " kričal a ľudia okolo neho sa triasli.
En: he shouted, and the people around him trembled.
Sk: Ale Jozef nebol sám.
En: But Jozef was not alone.
Sk: Miroslava cítila jeho odhodlanie.
En: Miroslava felt his determination.
Sk: "Je čas, Jozef," povedala a vzala ho za ruku.

Sk: "Počúvajte ma, ľudia!
En: "Listen to me, people!
Sk: Toto nie je nič než dielo prírody.
En: This is nothing but the work of nature.
Sk: Je to len stretnutie slnka a mesiaca.
En: It's just a meeting of the sun and the moon.
Sk: Nič zlé sa nestane.
En: Nothing bad will happen."
Sk: " Dav zahlušil, ale Miroslava zdvihla ruku.
En: The crowd quieted, but Miroslava raised her hand.
Sk: "Pšššt!
En: "Shhh!
Sk: Nechajte Jozefa hovoriť!
En: Let Jozef speak!"
Sk: " Na chvíľu nastala ticho.
En: For a moment, there was silence.
Sk: Jozef začal vysvetľovať.
En: Jozef began explaining.
Sk: Pomáhal mu jeho diagram a početné výpočty.
En: His diagram and numerous calculations aided him.
Sk: "Slnko sa vráti.
En: "The sun will return.
Sk: Vidíte tento výpočet?
En: Do you see this calculation?
Sk: Presne tu je predpoveď.
En: The prediction is right here."
Sk: "Rastislav zaváhal.
En: Rástislav hesitated.
Sk: "Ale ako môžeš byť si taký istý?
En: "But how can you be so sure?"
Sk: " spýtal sa, stále váhajúci.
En: he asked, still hesitant.
Sk: Jozef sa usmial a prikývol.
En: Jozef smiled and nodded.
Sk: "Ja viem, pretože som študoval.
En: "I know because I've studied.
Sk: A keď sa teraz postavím na toto miesto, všetko sa ukáže.
En: And when I now stand in this place, everything will be revealed."
Sk: " Ukázal na slnko za mesiacom.
En: He pointed to the sun behind the moon.
Sk: Minúty sa zdali nekonečné.
En: Minutes seemed endless.
Sk: Potom sa pomaly z niečoho ukázala žiara.
En: Then slowly, a glow emerged from something.
Sk: Vzduch sa zamlčal.
En: The air fell silent.
Sk: Ticho bolo prenikavé.
En: The quiet was piercing.
Sk: Slnko sa vrátilo.
En: The sun returned.
Sk: Deti jasali, ženy si vydýchli úľavou a Rastislav, hoci stále podozrievavý, uznal Jozefove vedomosti.
En: Children cheered, women sighed with relief, and Rástislav, though still suspicious, acknowledged Jozef's knowledge.
Sk: Miroslava sa na neho pozrela a povedala: "To je kouzlo poznania.
En: Miroslava looked at him and said, "That's the magic of knowledge."
Sk: "Jozef sa usmial.
En: Jozef smiled.
Sk: "Ale je to len začiatok.

Sk: Slnečné spektrum sa roztiahlo po večnom Babylonu, zatiaľ čo Jozef a Miroslava sledovali na oblohu, snívajúc o ďalších objavoch.
