Sk: Zelené listy sa jemne pohybovali vo vetre.
En: The green leaves gently swayed in the wind.
Sk: Jarná vôňa prenikala do všetkých kútov opustených ciest.
En: The scent of spring permeated all corners of the deserted roads.
Sk: Milan a Zuzana kráčali spolu, no každý mal svoju cestu v hlave.
En: Milan and Zuzana walked together, yet each had their own path in mind.
Sk: Svet okolo nich bol plný ticha, prerušovaného len šušťaním zničeného listia pod nohami.
En: The world around them was full of silence, interrupted only by the rustling of decayed leaves underfoot.
Sk: Milan držal v ruke starý, zmačkaný mapový útržok.
En: Milan held an old, crumpled map fragment in his hand.
Sk: Tvrdil, že ich privedie k legendárnemu útočisku.
En: He claimed it would lead them to the legendary refuge.
Sk: Mapu našiel v opustenom dome, medzi knihami, ktoré voľakedy učil svojich žiakov.
En: He found the map in an abandoned house, among books he once used to teach his students.
Sk: Cítil, že to je znamenie.
En: He felt it was a sign.
Sk: Zuzana nebola až taká presvedčená.
En: Zuzana was not so convinced.
Sk: Videla príliš veľa sľubov, ktoré sa nikdy nesplnili.
En: She had seen too many promises that were never fulfilled.
Sk: Ale zatiaľ čo nemala iné možnosti, sledovala Milana, dúfajúc aspoň na kúsok pravdy.
En: But since she had no other options, she followed Milan, hoping for at least a shred of truth.
Sk: Krajina okolo nich bola zničená a opustená.
En: The landscape around them was ruined and abandoned.
Sk: Stará múzeá, školy, obchody, všetko zarastené a pusté.
En: Old museums, schools, shops, all overgrown and desolate.
Sk: Kde-tu zaznelo zasyčanie zvierat, ktorých viac nemožno nazvať domácimi.
En: Here and there, the hissing of animals could be heard, creatures that could no longer be called domestic.
Sk: Mutácie si vzali, čo ostalo z normálneho sveta.
En: Mutations had claimed what was left of the normal world.
Sk: „Milan, prečo veríš tomu kúsku papiera?
En: "Milan, why do you believe in that piece of paper?"
Sk: “ opýtala sa Zuzana, keď zastali pri starom moste.
En: Zuzana asked as they stopped by an old bridge.
Sk: Most bol zničený, ale križoval malý potok, kde si mohli napustiť fľašky s čistou vodou.
En: The bridge was destroyed, but it crossed a small stream where they could fill their bottles with clear water.
Sk: „Verím tomu, pretože musím,“ odpovedal Milan a pozrel jej do očí.
En: "I believe in it because I have to," Milan replied, looking into her eyes.
Sk: „Ak stratím nádej, stratím všetko.
En: "If I lose hope, I lose everything.
Sk: Verím, že niekde tam vonku je lepší život.
En: I believe there's a better life out there somewhere.
Sk: Možno nie dokonalý, ale lepší.
En: Maybe not perfect, but better."
Sk: “Zuzana mlčky prikývla.
En: Zuzana nodded silently.
Sk: Cesta bola dlhá a často nebezpečná.
En: The journey was long and often dangerous.
Sk: Mali málo jedla a vetry boli stále chladné, aj keď jar už bola na dohmat.
En: They had little food, and the winds were still cold, even though spring was within reach.
Sk: Napriek tomu pokračovali ďalej.
En: Nevertheless, they continued onward.
Sk: Deň za dňom kráčali, čoraz bližšie k cieľu.
En: Day after day, they walked, getting closer to their goal.
Sk: Nakoniec prišli k označeným súradniciam na mape.
En: Finally, they arrived at the coordinates marked on the map.
Sk: Našli tam zarastené ruiny starého mesta.
En: They found the overgrown ruins of an old town.
Sk: Vyzeralo to pokojne, ale aj desivo.
En: It looked peaceful, yet eerie.
Sk: Bolo to iné ako ostatné krajiny, viac opustené, viac spokojné so svojim úpadkom.
En: It was different from other lands, more abandoned, more content with its decline.
Sk: „Nič tu nie je,“ povedala Zuzana s jemnou únavou v hlase.
En: "There's nothing here," Zuzana said, with a slight fatigue in her voice.
Sk: Bola sklamaná.
En: She was disappointed.
Sk: Boli tak blízko, všetko to úsilie, a nič z toho.
En: They were so close, all that effort, and nothing came of it.
Sk: V tom momente sa Milan usmial.
En: In that moment, Milan smiled.
Sk: Bol to úsmev úľavy, nie úzkosti.
En: It was a smile of relief, not anxiety.
Sk: „Možno si mala pravdu,“ povedal ticho.
En: "Maybe you were right," he said quietly.
Sk: „Nie je to miesto, kde nájdeme odpovede, ale je to cesta, ktorá nám ich prináša.
En: "It's not the place where we'll find answers, but it's the journey that brings them to us."
Sk: “Zuzana sa zamyslela nad jeho slovami a po prvýkrát pocítila zvláštnu dôveru.
En: Zuzana pondered his words and, for the first time, felt a strange confidence.
Sk: Necítila sa osamotená.
En: She didn't feel alone.
Sk: Pri pohľade na ruiny pochopila, že tu naozaj môžu začať odznova.
En: Looking at the ruins, she understood they could truly begin anew here.
Sk: Miesto, kde môžu spolu budovať novú nádej.
En: A place where they could together build new hope.
Sk: Spoločne sa rozhodli ostať.
En: Together they decided to stay.
Sk: Ruiny premenili na nový domov.
En: They transformed the ruins into a new home.
Sk: Nebolo to útočisko, aké očakávali, ale zistili, že najväčším útočiskom sú jeden druhému.
En: It wasn't the refuge they expected, but they found that the greatest refuge was in each other.
Sk: A tak, v tichu zabiť minulosti, začali stavať budúcnosť.
En: And so, in the silence of the past, they began to build a future.
