Sl: Meglice so se dvigale nad jezerom Bled in tanko meglo nežno prekrivale čudovit otok s cerkvijo.
En: Mists were rising over jezero Bled and a thin fog gently covered the beautiful island with the church.
Sl: Jesen je obarvala listje okoli jezera v odtenke rdeče, oranžne in rumene.
En: Autumn had colored the leaves around the lake in shades of red, orange, and yellow.
Sl: Mateja, Anže in Klemen so veselo prispeli k obali z načrti za dan, ki si ga bodo zapomnili.
En: Mateja, Anže, and Klemen happily arrived at the shore with plans for a day they would remember.
Sl: "Anže, bodi previden!
En: "Anže, be careful!"
Sl: " je zaklicala Mateja, ko je Anže veselo skočil v čoln, ki so ga najeli.

Sl: Ko so se odrinili, je Anže zagledal napihljivo raco na obali.
En: As they set off, Anže spotted an inflatable duck on the shore.
Sl: Plavalec, ki ga je pustil, ni vedel, da bo njegova gumijasta račka sprožila divjo dogodivščino.
En: The swimmer who left it there didn't know that their rubber duck would trigger a wild adventure.
Sl: "Čakaj, Anže, kaj delaš?
En: "Wait, Anže, what are you doing?"

En: Mateja asked with understanding concern as Anže began untying the rope that held the duck by the shore.

En: She broke her plans for a calm trip with the impression of idyllic glimpses of the island on the lake.
Sl: Mateja je hitro prijela za vesla.
En: Mateja quickly grabbed the oars.
Sl: "Dajmo, moramo jo ujeti," je prisegala in začela veslati proti bežeči rački.
En: "Come on, we have to catch it," she insisted and started rowing towards the fleeing duck.
Sl: Valovi so rahlo zibali čoln, ko so se približevali raci.
En: The waves gently rocked the boat as they approached the duck.
Sl: Klemen pa je nenadoma dobil idejo, ki vedno pomeni težave.
En: But Klemen suddenly got an idea, which always means trouble.
Sl: Smehljal se je sebi v brado in je začel rahlo zibati čoln.
En: He smiled to himself and began to gently rock the boat.
Sl: "Ne zdaj, Klemen!
En: "Not now, Klemen!"
Sl: " je zavpila Mateja, ko je poskušala uravnati veslaj svojega že tako zahtevnega dela.
En: shouted Mateja as she tried to balance her stroke, which was already challenging enough.
Sl: Čoln se je močno zazibal, in v trenutku so bili blizu, da bi se prevrnili.
En: The boat rocked hard, and for a moment they were close to capsizing.
Sl: Smehu in kriku na jezeru je sledil trenutek zadržanega dihanja, ko je Mateja iztegnila roko in ujela raco.
En: The laughter and shouting on the lake were followed by a moment of held breath when Mateja reached out her hand and caught the duck.
Sl: Vsi so se smejali in jokali hkrati, prekriti z rahlo pršečo vodo, ki je padala z vesla.
En: Everyone laughed and cried at the same time, covered with the light spray of water falling from the oar.

En: Once they were finally comfortably seated with the duck on board, Mateja looked at her friends.
Sl: "Mislim, da ste nori," se je smehljala, "ampak naj se zahvalim temu kaosu, ker je bil dan zelo zabaven.
En: "I think you're crazy," she smiled, "but let me thank this chaos because today was very fun."
Sl: "Vse tri prijatelje je grelo poljesensko sonce, ko so počasi veslali proti obali.
En: The three friends were warmed by the late autumn sun as they slowly rowed towards the shore.
Sl: Mateja se je z nasmehom naučila, da včasih nepričakovane dogodivščine prinesejo najbolj nepozabne trenutke.
En: Mateja learned with a smile that sometimes unexpected adventures bring the most unforgettable moments.
Sl: In tako je, obdana z jesenskim čarjem Bleda in v družbi dveh razigranih prijateljev, Mateja slednjič resnično uživala v dnevu.
En: And so, surrounded by the autumn charm of Bled and in the company of two playful friends, Mateja finally truly enjoyed the day.
