Sl: Mateja in Tomaž sta stala na vrhu Ljubljanskega gradu.
En: Mateja and Tomaž stood at the top of Ljubljanski Castle.
Sl: Sonce je nežno sijalo preko mesta, ki je bilo vseh barv jeseni.
En: The sun gently shone over the city, which was all the colors of autumn.
Sl: Rjavkasti listi so plesali po vetru, mesto pa je izgledalo kot iz pravljice.
En: Brownish leaves danced in the wind, and the city looked like something out of a fairy tale.
Sl: Mateja je globoko vdihnila, pripravljena na pomemben pogovor.
En: Mateja took a deep breath, ready for an important conversation.
Sl: "Ne vem, zakaj sva dopustila, da pride do tega," je rekla Mateja.
En: "I don't know why we let it come to this," said Mateja.
Sl: Glas ji je bil mehak, a odločilen.
En: Her voice was soft but resolute.
Sl: Tomaž je pogledal proti njej in nato spet proti razgledu.

En: "I left because I had to follow my dreams," Tomaž said.

En: His voice was full of freedom, but there was regret in it.
Sl: "Vem, da s tem nisem bil pošten do tebe in družine."
En: "I know I wasn't fair to you and the family with that."
Sl: Mateja je prikimala.
En: Mateja nodded.
Sl: Ni bilo lahko, ko je Tomaž zapustil doma, a zdaj ni bilo več časa za obžalovanja ali zamere.
En: It wasn't easy when Tomaž left home, but now there was no time for regrets or grudges.
Sl: "Hočem narediti korak naprej," je dejala z rahlim nasmehom.
En: "I want to take a step forward," she said with a slight smile.

En: She was still practical, but a glimmer of hope could be seen in her eyes.

Sl: Mateja in Tomaž sta nekaj trenutkov stala tiho.
En: Mateja and Tomaž stood for a few moments in silence.
Sl: Zvok piščečih ptic in šumenje vetra sta bila edina glasba.
En: The sound of chirping birds and the rustle of the wind were the only music.
Sl: Nato je Mateja naredila prvi korak; položila je roko na njegov ramo.
En: Then Mateja made the first move; she placed her hand on his shoulder.

En: Understanding and warm.

En: Tomaž realized how precious family is.
Sl: Na Ljubljanskem gradu sta pustila stare zamere in se odpravila v novo poglavje.
