Sl: Ljubljanska osrednja tržnica je mesto, kjer se poleti kuharji zbirajo kot čebele na cvetove.
En: The Ljubljana Central Market is a place where chefs gather like bees to flowers in the summer.
Sl: Stojnice so polne svežih barv in vonjev, od rdečih paradižnikov do dišečih zelišč.
En: The stalls are full of fresh colors and scents, from red tomatoes to fragrant herbs.
Sl: Prav tam, med zgodovinskimi stavbami in pod toplim modrim nebom, se odvija zgodba o Mateju, mladem kuharju, ki si srčno želi ustvariti posebne jedi.
En: Right there, among the historic buildings and under the warm blue sky, unfolds the story of Matej, a young chef who eagerly wants to create special dishes.
Sl: Matej je bil zgodaj na tržnici.
En: Matej was at the market early.

En: Matej rushed towards the stall, but he was too late.

En: He saw Ana, already holding the last bunch of sage in her hands.
Sl: Matej je globoko vdihnil.

Sl: Približal se ji je.
En: He approached her.
Sl: »Ana, rabim ta žajbelj.
En: "Ana, I need that sage.
Sl: Tudi ti imaš svojega.
En: You have yours too.
Sl: Mogoče lahko nekako delimo?
En: Maybe we can share somehow?"
Sl: «Ana ga je pogledala z nasmehom na obrazu.
En: Ana looked at him with a smile on her face.
Sl: »Matej, vem, da si odličen kuhar.
En: "Matej, I know you are an excellent chef.
Sl: Mislim, da lahko najdeva skupen jezik.
En: I think we can find common ground."
Sl: «Matej in Ana sta se dogovorila, da si zelišče delita.
En: Matej and Ana agreed to share the herb.
Sl: S sodelovanjem sta izboljšala vsak svojo jed in okrepila svoje znanje.
En: By collaborating, they each improved their dish and enhanced their knowledge.
Sl: Matej je spoznal, da tekmovanje ni vedno odgovor.
En: Matej realized that competition is not always the answer.
Sl: Včasih je sodelovanje bolj vredno in prinese nepričakovane navdihe.
