Sl: Jutro je že dišalo po jeseni, ko sta se Mateja in Luka vkrcala na avtobus za šolski izlet na Bled.
En: The morning already smelled of autumn when Mateja and Luka boarded the bus for the school trip to Bled.
Sl: Oba sta bila polna pričakovanj.
En: They were both full of anticipation.
Sl: Rjavkasto listje je padalo z dreves, in Luka je že iskal nove skrivnosti, ki jih lahko razkrije.
En: Brownish leaves were falling from the trees, and Luka was already looking for new secrets to uncover.
Sl: Ko so prispeli na Bled, je bil pogled osupljiv.
En: When they arrived at Bled, the view was stunning.
Sl: Jezero se je zibalo ob svetlobi sonca, otok z majhno cerkvico pa je stal v središču kot stražar miru.
En: The lake shimmered under the sunlight, and the island with a small church stood in the center like a guardian of peace.

Sl: Po dolgi hoji sta se znašla na vrhu majhnega hriba.

Sl: Pred njima se je odprl pogled, ki je prekoračil vsa njuna pričakovanja.
En: Before them was a view that exceeded all their expectations.
Sl: Bled se je lesketal v zlatih odtenkih sončnega zahoda, voda je odsevala barve jeseni, otok pa je bil kot v pravljici.

Sl: "Tukaj je," je vzkliknila Mateja.
En: "Here it is," Mateja exclaimed.
Sl: Luka je pogledal in za trenutek ostal brez besed.

En: The work of nature completely captivated them.
