In episode 5 of the Odd Mom Pod, Brittany interviews her friend, Emma, with whom she shares parenting perspectives and stories about their unique childhoods. Emma was raised by two moms after her parents divorced when she was three, experiencing both challenges and acceptance in a small town environment during the '90s. Other themes explored range from generational patterns and decisions surrounding family dynamics to parental separation and blended families. Emma talks about her experience of pre and postnatal anxiety, the loss of parents, as well as her birth experience. This is part one of Emma's story with part two to be aired in episode six.
