Sharon A. Hill is an independent researcher of anomalous natural phenomenon and paranormal popular culture. She's the author of Scientifical Americans: The Culture of Amateur Paranormal Researchers, where she examined how ghost hunters, cryptozoologists and ufo chasers attempt to use science in there investigations. She has published in Fortean Times and Skeptical Inquirer. She has a degree in Geosciences from Penn State University and a masters degree in education focusing on science and the public from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
