Judy Smith, aged 50, was traveling with her spouse in Philadelphia. On the 10th of April, 1997, she informed him of her plans to explore the city while he attended a business conference. Regrettably, she never returned.
Following a series of peculiar sightings across various states, Judy's remains were eventually discovered months later, 600 miles away from her last known whereabouts. The arthritic woman was found in a wooded area, equipped with a new backpack and dressed in hiking attire. It was evident that she had been the victim of a homicide.
The mystery remains: how did she end up in North Carolina? And who was responsible for the murder of Judy Smith?
