It pays to aspire to be converted all the time. It is that goal you want to reach. It is the dream you want to achieve. And if you opt to be with Our Lord, or what is the same thing, to be a saint, or to reach Heaven, or to be the happiest that I could ever be, then I need to have many conversions a day. The Founder used to encourage his listeners to live the parable of the prodigal son many times a day. A woman who keeps up checking the mirror of her face and her makeup and dress is a woman who will look the best each day. That is because she realizes her clothes are crumpled and she straightens them up. She realizes there is a mote in her eye and she cleans it up. So on and so forth. We can be holy just by being converted many times each day.
