Today, All Souls' Day, we remember in a special way all the faithful departed, especially our loved ones. We owe this to them. We owe them our suffrages, i.e., our prayers for Our Lord to shorten their stay in Purgatory. They are satisfying their temporal punishment. They are suffering a lot. Furthermore, we try our best to shorten the sufferings of our dear beloved on earth when they are sick or suffering in any way. The souls in Purgatory are suffering tremendously. We should not be indifferent to that, and try to pray a lot for them. The goal of the Church today is to get Purgatory out of business. Let us empty Purgatory so they all go to Heaven ASAP!
