We hear Jesus loud and clear. In another homily, Jesus spoke of this commandment also, but He referred to this commandment as the new commandment. That is evident, since we need to be reminded of this all the time. It is so easy to disobey this, especially in this imperfect world full of imperfect and defective people. No one is exempted of some degree of imperfection. We are commanded to love them, all the time! Jesus is clear that the standard of our love for the others is His love for us. That is a tall order, right? As they say, "dura lex sed lex." The law is difficult to follow but it is the law!
