The Gospel of the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time brings us to listen to Jesus' words about our treasure. He asks us to have our treasure in Heaven because something less than Heaven would be open to destruction by earthly elements. Then, we will be left with nothing. Investing in Heavenly treasures first means that we need to be vigilant. We should be like basketball players who are so conscious about how to make more points than the other team to win the game. We need to be more aware of doing lots of good here on earth to make it to Heaven.
