It is finally time to dive deeper into Emma Hayes’ Olympic roster selection. Lianna and Vienna discuss the players they are excited to watch, and the players that were left off. They chat about the friendly against Mexico, and what they hope to see change against Costa Rica (which ended up being a draw and what they wanted to see didn’t really happen). Because the Summer Cup is taking place during the Olympics, they also discuss what teams will be hit the hardest with missing players, and who they expect to take home wins this first weekend of games.
This week’s Pookie of the Week is none other than Lynn Williams, who was moved from alternate to the official roster. We can’t wait to see her play in Paris!
