It's critical to stay immersed in the New Testament as it reveals Jesus, otherwise we stay in the perspective of the writers of the Old Testament who had a promise of the Messiah, but had not yet encountered Him. Steve points out how Paul took time to encounter Jesus. He was fixed on only bringing the sound of Jesus and not promote himself or his own works for Jesus. When we approach the Scripture with a heart of hunger to encounter Jesus, Holy Spirit will lead us to Him every time and miracles will follow because they reveal Him.
