The intentionality of the Son of Man was for us to KNOW the Father AND the Son. "My Kingdom is not of this world..." Steve points out that the Kingdom we are under is not under the authority of nations, but of God. James points out that wisdom from the world is earthly and self-seeking and leads to evil and confusion. But the Wisdom from above is born of humility and yields life, love, and good fruits. We find the essence of the Kingdom reading through John and James together. We learn in Chronicles, "God is with you as long as you seek Him."
