Author, adventurer, international speaker, and researcher of all things strange, Brad Blair has harbored a passion for the unusual since childhood. Growing up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Brad spent his days exploring regional legends and folklore, investigating claims of cryptid creatures, UFO sightings, psychic phenomena, and his favorite topic-ghosts and hauntings.
Brad has investigated haunted locations throughout North America and beyond, including sites in England, Cuba, and Romania. He has contributed to many publications and documentaries on the paranormal and continues to pursue a lifelong study of the bizarre.
Along with lifelong friends Tim Ellis and Steve LaPlaunt, Brad authored 2019’s Yoopernatural Haunts, chronicling the case files of their research team. This was followed up in 2021 by another collaboration with Ellis, Great Lakes Monsters and Mysteries. Both titles are available through Visionary Living Publishing.
He is a founding member of the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society, Co-host of Creaking Door Paranormal Radio, and Co-founder of the Michigan Paranormal Convention.
Brad lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, with his wife Jennifer and son Kaden, where he owns and operates several tourism-related businesses.
